Unlike apps that separate task lists from documentation, Superlist lets you write notes and create tasks within the same document. You can brainstorm inside a note, then convert any line into a task instantly. This fusion reduces context switching and keeps related information together in one place.

Shared lists allow teams to assign tasks, leave comments, and track progress in real time. Team members can be added to any list, and the Basic plan supports unlimited team members. The collaboration model is simple and avoids the overhead of traditional project management tools, which makes it ideal for small to mid size teams.

Superlist connects with Gmail (turn emails into tasks), Slack (create tasks from messages), Google Calendar (sync due dates), and GitHub (link commits to tasks). The new MCP protocol support also lets you manage Superlist tasks through Claude and other AI assistants, which positions it well for AI first workflows.

The latest update (v1.56) introduced multi select across desktop, web, and mobile. You can now select multiple tasks at once and move, duplicate, delete, or copy them in one action. This is a major time saver for list reorganisation and weekly reviews.
